Life project

It is now that I realize that because my lifetime project had been put on hold, I had this sinking feeling that kept me depressed for a long time.

The work to renovate my home had started, but was never finished, and that was bearing down on me. Of course, I had my garden to work on, but as every good gardener knows, a garden is never quite finished, for the very good reason that we are dealing with living things that grow in time.

But the project that I had planned on doing during my lifetime was to transform a dated summer camp turned into a yearlong home that reflected my tastes and my lifestyle. At first, I was happy to see that the work was well on it's way, but when everything stopped, I still hoped that things would pick up again. But they didn't.

Now that things have picked up again, my outlook on life is much more positive. I wake up each day eager to do more work, and when I'm tired and have to stop, I reflect on the next step, and the next one after that.

And I look around me in admiration, because everything looks so nice!
