Molting

One by one, I'm making holes in my mother's socks. One by one, I'm fraying collars of my teenage years' Tshirts and blouses. One by one, I'm wearing thin bedsheets I've had for more than forty years. I'm gradually putting in the trash my past worn out skins, shedding away the years, so I may renew myself into my own present self.
