- "I would really like you to start reconsidering the offers you have been getting to buy some of your things."

- "Why? What's the rush?"

- "I'm cleaning up my basement and your stuff is taking up more than half of the floor. And there is no more room in the garage to move things there either."

    I can't stand the thought of the alcoholism, the hoarding, the compulsive shopping, the lack of hygiene, the money pinching, the lack of affection, the lack of intimacy, the lack of gratitude, being scared he'll stop eating again...
